I sewed the mockup as well as the final gown for Volumnia's Act II look for Coriolanus at Colorado Shakes in 2022. Between ongoing design edits and fabric cut on the bias, this garment was quite a challenge. The gown was made of a synthetic stretch material that had to be pinned while hanging in order to prevent unwanted wrinkles and drag lines in the skirt.
