Hello! I am a designer and technician whose work spans a range of mediums and environments. As an artist in the theatre industry, I focus on collaborating with production teams that prioritize diversity both on and off the stage and share my goal of creating a more accessible and inclusive environment for future generations of theatre artists and audiences.
I received a BA in Theatre Design and Technology with an emphasis in costume design from St. Edward's University in December 2021. My time at St. Edward's allowed me to strengthen my skills in the costume area and confirm my passion for telling immersive, engaging, and impactful stories. Theatre excites me because I get to participate in the unique process of bringing a story to life by collaborating with other designers and creative artists.
My experience as a theatre design student in college also showed me how my talents and skills could be applied beyond the stage, particularly in the world of retail window display design. I created winter holiday displays for 3 consecutive years as part of Austin's Second Street Holiday Window Walk competition. My 2021 design for OrangeTheory Fitness won first place and my design for Crú Food & Wine Bar tied for second place in 2020. I believe that my experience in the theatre industry as well as working with retailers makes me a uniquely versatile designer who is equipped to face any creative challenge I may encounter.
I am currently based out of Longmont, Colorado. Click here to see some of my recent work for the Colorado Shakespeare Festival.
